Shopping About

I’m roaming the Internet.  You really don’t find how vast the web is until you go looking for as many of one type of web site as you can find.  I’m roaming for hosting solutions.  I really want to register my own .com/.net/.org domain name so that I may have my own online identity.  No longer am I content being under an umbrella as a subdomain of wordpress.com or any other web site, I’m ready to have my own identity.

I found that it’s noimg003t very expensive either.  For $4.95 a month I can have unlimited  web sites with unlimited…well…everything.  It’s pretty good, but it’s a $131 investment that I’m not currently prepared to make.  Perhaps I’ll invest in a web site when I invest in a apple macbook (yeah, I will be buying a mac).  Then I’ll also want to purchase my own camera, and then when still photographs don’t cut it, a video camera.  I’ll also need to buy software to run all these things, unless iLife actually is as good as everybody says it is.

So I’m stuck in a quandary of discontent.  I’m not sure how to get out yet, but I can’t wait.  I’ve got to change my focus, I’ve got to get my mind getting ready to go do Taiwan while not losing perspective on all the other obligations I have to take care of around here in America.

I better get going and do something productive.  If every I’m going to have my own account with Web Hosting Pad I better start working about.  My room needs cleaning, there are still two rooms in the basement that need emptying, a digital camera which needs replacing, and some videos that need to be put on YouTube.  My body could use some work as well.  So…I guess I’m off.
